Our next door neighbor who has been giving us a fit for the last couple of years has fallen victim to MRSA!  He allowed it to get worst till it has just about shut him down!  He fears loosing his arm plus his whole body is shutting down!  The virus has invaded his blood stream and all of his organs are in jeopardy!  He's been airlifted to a hospital that deals more with treatment of infectious diseases and has been put into a coma!   Regardless of what happens to his body, his soul needs Jesus!   If Jesus decides to heal his body, that's fine but Chris Brown needs a big dose of Jesus Christ!   I pray that he will encounter the true Jesus, not some religious group but the pure truth of the gospel and find his forgiveness and eternal life in Christ!

I myself would love healing for 3 incision hernias in my stomach that I wish would have been healed through surgery, but 2 times it was unsuccessful. This is only minor.  I have come to this place where I believe completely and wholly in a creator God, but beyond that I am unsure of anything anymore. The Bible , that I once read for hours and studies non stop it seemed is only a bit of history. I am not sad or anything as I have peace I just question more than I ever thought I could. I have been out of the lie since..05..and every year is easier. I just find myself no longer reading or praying and only occasionally reading anything anyone else has to say.

Jim and Dorothy Murdock

Dorothy suffers from thyroid problems and breathlessness while I  am afflicted with problems relating to my heart and lungs.   May The Lord bless you as you spread this message abroad .

My 6 year old daughter Ellie (a twin) has stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer in her trunk, leg and lungs. I   found a hard lump in her lower Pelvis only 2 nights ago while powdering her sweet body before Bedtime. At 10pm we rushed her to ER and by 2am our lives had changed Forever with the news that my beautiful first born had cancer.  We Were sent by ambulance to the CMC Levine Hospital in Charlotte at 2:30am.  My poor Ellie was perfectly happy, tanned and healthy. Not a Symptom but a dull leg ache for the last few months. What we dismissed for growing pains was the ugly tumor in her upper leg.

We ask for your prayers for God to heal Ellie.  We do need a miracle. I am trying to live sec by sec to get through this for her and will remain by her bedside.  I sleep in her bed and my job is to give her as much love and hope and ease her fears, as I give her truly the best days possible left on earth.  I am not a doubter of miracles, but this is a mean duplicating cell that thinks it is a muscle/tissue cell and going wherever it thinks Ellie needs it ~ then duplicating like crazy.  Her grapefruit size tumor is to large in muscle and unstable in form to take out, Pieces will break off. We need to shrink harden and then later see how to handle.  I have not received a final prognosis. But this is what I am told they believe ... Only 4-8% have cancer of this type ... and 50% live for 5 years. Depending on grade  Of cancer.

This is what we should expect.... She should respond to treatment and the the tumor will shrink and for one year Ellie will be on a vigilant 
Chemo and radiation therapy taking her in and out of the hospital weekly.  But here is where we have to wait it out.... It is the next 1 - 3 years where 50% of these cancer children have the cancer come back in different or the same areas and where their is no longer a response to treatment.  Hence, their young lives are cut short. Tomorrow Ellie will begin her treatment and in 6 weeks we will look at response to date.

As you would understand I am devastated for Ellie as well as her adorable twin sister Grace, for they have been one since birth and the very best of friends. We are just speechless and I am angry, horrified, grief stricken and so much more. I thank you all for your ongoing prayers. Feel free to pass on to anyone you feel is willing to support our prayers.

My prayer to you is this... "Dear God, You have blessed me and Tim with a daughter that we call Ellie Shoal Potvin.  We understand Ellie is only on loan to us on this heavenly earth and when you want her back you have the right to take her into the heavens and hold her in your arms.  I am so thankful to you for allowing me to give birth to my two strong and healthy babies on October 31, 2001. This was truly the most joyful day of my life - The gift of motherhood.  For I understand some are not even as blessed as myself to know this feeling of joy through your child.  Her smile alone and the sparkle in her eyes, the soft sweet voice calling Mommy has filled me in a way that I cannot explain - and I have you God to t hank.

I can understand why you would want her with you - she is special and very kind, patient and trusting.  As she says to me "Mommy I specialize in being kind."  What child says that? Only a child that you would create.  I pray that you hear me now.  Lord, My Heavenly 
Father, please send Ellie the miracle of healing and allow her to share her beauty, kindness and love with others on your earth.  Ellie is needed here on earth more than with you.  Ellie's work is not done here, she needs to be here with us to spread your joy and to act as proof of your power. I am here by her side to and will walk through the pain and fears she will be faced with - but I will be strong for her and for you.  I ask that you give my family the strength to feel the power of your presence and calm our aching hearts.  For I am angry, I am scared, I am devastated and at times I am numb.  But with your ability to wrap your arms around my family and to care for us as we care for Ellie we can together heal our earthly and heavenly daughter Ellie Potvin. I beg of you.  I thank you for sending me so many people into my life to show Ellie how much they love her and hold my family up when all we want to do is fall to the ground and beat our fists.  Please know I do not ask why me... I already know that answer.  It is called life.  I want to ask why Ellie?  But I have let that go.  But I do ask for a miracle that only you can do.  For Ellie is meant to be with my family on this earth to share your joy with others.  In your name and your name only I praise you and ask you for this miracle. Our lives are forever changed by this experience and we give it you.  But beg for the miracles you are known for giving, should this be your decision.  Amen."

Hospital will print off and give to Ellie.  She knows she has a Boo Boo inside of her and that it is making her sick.  She understands the 
hospital is a place she will be in and out of, but she has no idea what is to come.  That will come day by day and we will get through this hour by hour.

Gale Davis-Tac  

We unexpectedly moved all the way to Washington state (2007).  For years, fellowship with true believers has been quite rare and we miss that terribly.  I firmly believe healing and nourishment come from the joining of His body parts (believers); Col 2:19; so many folk are sick and afflicted and lifeless.    About a month ago my wife Gale, was diagnosed on a single day, with heart blockages and breast cancer.  An angiogram proved the heart was fine but she has had surgeries for cancer and now comes weeks of radiation and chemo.  We have no relatives or support here in Washington and I cannot take off so much work to take her in for treatments.  We don't know how to handle this 'alone'.  Bill Davis-Tac

Pete Osborne

Pete Osborne has an internal intestinal blockage and is extremely sick.  On transport to the nearest VA hospital, last evening, Hazel (his wife) said they almost lost him!   Pete went from extreme nausea to extreme pain last evening and had to be transported!   Please help me pray for our brother in the Lord, both for his healing and for his comfort and that Hazel would also be comforted by the Holy Spirit!

2. Today a young lady, Elizabeth came to my house and asked that her friend, Chantal be put on a prayer line. Chantal told Elizabeth that she wants to find her faith. Elizabeth is asking that people pray that Chantal finds Jesus. Please pray for her and if the Lord gives you any word for Chantal or even for Elizabeth on how to help her friend, if you send it to me, I will see that she receives it.

3. Also, last but certainly not least, please pray for my son Jody. He did what he could to make my birthday so special, and then bad things happened. He rebuilt a computer for me, and his gets a trojan virus, on his. Some time ago, he helped me to get a nice car. Shortly after, his gets run into by a hit and run driver while it is parked and the side all smashed in and now his car is also in need of a new radiator. He suffered a sun stroke and had to go to the emergency at the hospital this morning with second degree burns. He is in much pain and full of blisters especially on his back. The doctor said that it will get worse before it will get better. We have a big God, and I believe that one touch from Him can bring about a quick healing and alleviate the pain. Will you please agree with me in prayer for this to happen?  Also, he is so good at helping so many people, but when it comes to him needing help, it is another story. Still he loves people and will continue to keep his word whenever he says he will do something. His motto is if I expect the Lord to keep His Word to me, it is important to keep my word to Him and to others.

4. Ed Boswell, who has a kidney stone that's so big that they had to plant a stint in his bladder, surgically!  If the stone does not pass, then they will try to crush it with a crusher!  This all has left him weak and sickly and running a fever!  He just came by here and just had to get out for a while!  So, it is my earnest prayer for my old friend, who by the way is in his 80's and still active!  I pray you'll agree me as touching this one thing, that our Abba Father would touch him with peace and loving warmth that will easily go beyond all understanding and deliver him from this body problem!  Lord, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done for Ed, In Jesus name.  Please pray for Jody, especially for God's healing touch to quickly heal and take away the pain.

Alpha

Dear folk, one of the Pastors in Uganda whom I am in contact with has a very ill little 8 month old boy in hospital. His name is Alpha and his Dad and Mum are Ps. Steven Nsubuga and Catherine. I am not yet fully aware of his condition, as I was only made aware of this at 11:30 AM approx this morning. Ps. Steven has been involved in ministering in Rwanda and has an upcoming conference in a short while. He has had problems in getting money to pay his rent and has been under attack from the evil one.  Please inform anyone that you can who is a good prayer warrior.  He needs all the prayer that we can afford him.  I also have another Pastor who has contacted me last night by email, who has just returned from evangelizing a village in  his circle  of places and his sister has been sick for a week.   Heather and I could also use your prayers as we care for these folk.  Thanks and Good bless you all, Barry Pound.

Jacob Lyons

On May 13, o8, Jacob Lyons was run over by his school bus. He is my grandson, his father is Timothy, mother and sisters are Jamie Richards, Taylor, Ashlyn. They witnessed the accident.  We thank our heavenly father that his injuries were only, a fractured femer, collapsed lungs, torn liver, ripped stomach, and his bladder was separated from his body. He had 2 0pperations within 3 days, was stabilized; Praise be to God, he is healing quickly. As the swelling goes down in a few months he will go to Toronto for his final operation on his bladder, he has a catheter at this time.

Ruby Whipple, 62, loving wife of my friend and workmate, Luscious Whipple is lying in ICU with one side of her heart swollen up to four times it's normal size!  She's in constant pain and frequently unconscious from medication!  She knows the Lord, I know cause her husband and I worked together and became close friends and brothers in the faith!    Luscious will be totally lost without his Ruby by his side since they just entered retirement not more than a year ago!  Ruby has been suffering with water around her heart but has been under her doctor's close care!   My neighbor said that Ruby is getting real tired of fighting and is ready to go home, so I can only ask that we pray the Lord's will for her!    And let's also pray for her husband that he will be comforted by our Abba Father!

Cadence 

I am emailing asking for prayer.  As many of you are aware Cadence has had issues with her teeth for over a year now.  A few weeks ago we were finally able to find the cause of the problem and are in the process of fixing it, but Cadence is still going to need a somewhat extensive oral surgery.  We've been consulting with some specialists and it looks like her surgery will be scheduled for sometime in July.  So, if you could keep this situation in your prayers that would be great.

Linda Jensen   

My name is Linda Jensen from Greensboro , NC . Some of you receiving this know me, some do not. I'm 47 and have been diagnosed with O.P.C.D. this year. I started having symptoms 5 years ago. I can no longer work as a nurse, or be as independent as I used to be. I'm now on disability. O.P.C.D. is a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure. There's no treatment available. It sort of mimics Parkinson's disease. The bottom line is that my brain is degenerating or dying. The nerve pathways are not working right. Therefore I have no coordination, gait problems, tremors, fine motor skill impairment, problems with controlling my bladder (it's spasmodic), speech difficulty, and swallowing difficulty. I will eventually die after a prolonged incapacitation. I don't want to be a burden to my family. This is a request for you to forward this e-mail to everyone you know asking them for prayer. The more people that pray for me to be healed the better. 

Your prayer will save my life. Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for the HEALING of Linda, removal of this disease from my body so that I can resume a "normal life". I want to continue to be a mother for my 2 college age children and a loving, supportive wife to my husband Brent. The power of prayer is unsurpassed. I believe in its healing power. God will hear our united cry from his people. Please do not be offended by my plea. This is a simple, easy request from my heart to yours. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and helping with my request for healing. No words can express how much power we have when we ask God in prayer for help. Terrie  

"I have been trying to decide how to say this.  In Feb, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  They said I would have to have a mastectomy, radiation, chemo, and no nodes were affected.  Last week, I meet the surgeon and all the tests are completed, for the last time I hope as they found another lump.  My surgery is on May 29.  The doctor said the second lump is an infection, I will have a lumpectomy, some nodes removed but they are not cancerous, and radiation, no chemo.  This has to be an act of God.   There was no way this was going to happen without God intervening.  It is the prayers that have kept me from the worst possible surgery for me and the chemo.  I do not heal well at all and contract staf infections easily.  Please continue to pray for me as this goes on for 2 or 3 more months.  I thank you so much for all the prayers!  I was afraid to write this as I thought they would call me back and say they made a mistake!!" - Your Friend, Terrie

Fred

Our family is in need of the LORD'S healing power tonight. Our car was hit in the passenger side doors by a vehicle traveling dangerously fast on wet roads this evening. My wife, Stephanie, adult son, Fred jr, and adult daughter Roberta were taken by ambulance to the Winter Haven, Florida emergency room, after our car was totaled in that wreck, and the jaws of life was used to get me, Fred SR, out of the tangled mess. My wife suffered chest wall contusions, Fred JR suffered lacerations to the right temple, Roberta suffered a sprained right knee, and I suffered contusions to the ribs. After approximately 5 hours of treatment, we were all dismissed from the e.r. Please pray that the insurance will provide a rental vehicle and that the settlement will enable us to get another vehicle. Thank you for your prayers. Fred Metz, Sr. walkwithchrist@tampabay.rr.com

"Mary is in the hospital in Arizona.  She has Atrial Fibrillation and they just can't seem to get her heart to regular rhythm, even though they have done various procedures. Her husband,  Don, spoke to my friends tonight, and they are planning on doing a procedure on Tuesday, which the doctors say is the last one that they can do for her.  Please join in prayer for Mary, and her husband Don, asking Jesus to touch her, heal her, grant her strength, comfort and console both of them.  Thank you for your prayerful support.

"Beloved brothers and sisters in Messiah Yeshua:
Please pray for little Sarah Vecseri.  This precious 3-year-old was helping her mommy do some juicing for the family dinner, and when her mother turned her back for just a moment, she got her fingers trapped in the machinery.  Three fingers were ripped off and the doctors didn't feel that it was worthwhile trying to reattach them.  The parents insisted, and they have been sewn back on, but there remains a serious question as to whether blood flow will restart and as to whether the tendons and nerves can be reattached.  Please hold her up to the Throne of Grace that she (and her parents) will find help in time of great need!!

"Our son just phoned. His best friend, Rich, 37 years of age, was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer on his nose and he has been a 20% chance of recovery. His father knew the Lord but I am not so sure about Rich. We have known him since he was a child. Please pray for the Lord to touch him with salvation as well as healing. He is going to Alberta tomorrow for aggressive chemotherapy. Please agree for total healing from the Lord Jesus. Rich is a young Daddy so this is a hard one for his family.

"We are in the midst of a lot of changes, I presently have my house for sale and am looking to move somewhere that I could pay the house off with the proceeds of this house if it sells. My goal is to be debt free since we are pretty frugal and don't require much to live on. I do have a small pension, but am looking for work where ever we do end up. I was a letter carrier for @ 20 years, am currently and have been a liscensed real estate agent in the state of Pennsylvania for 12 years, and worked the last 3 years as a high school facilitator in a private Christian school. We have also had a home fellowship in our house for the past 14 years, although we are connected to an organized church, it is the closest thing to a house church that I have been able to find out this way. I'm not sure where we are headed, we are just trying to follow as the Lord leads. and also trying to break free from all the materialism of the rat race. I guess I need prayer more than anything else because I'm just not sure about anything. My wife is from the Philippines and our two sons are multicultural teenagers and will need work too. Any suggestions or offers, feel free to call or email. And please any prayers would be greatly appreciated. If it is the Lord's will we stay put I am open to that too but will need work in the Philadelphia area if that is the case."

This is very unusual for me to come to a prayer line to request prayer. I am usually the one all the requests come to. I have a 21 year old son that is basically writhing in the mud. At 18 he began being very disrespectful not following rules... etc. So we forced him to go into the Air Force. He didn't make it. They put him out... for underage drinking, financial problems and not following orders.  He came back home we brought him in and tried to get him to get a job. This one didn't pay enough.. this one was too hard.. this one was too far away. We gave him the ultimatum to get a job or get out. The disrespect returned and we were forced to put him out. This has been going on for the last three years. My heart is broken into a million pieces and I am on the brink of emotional breakdown. My husband supports me and is a wonderful man we have the perfect marriage. The problem therein lies that when my son hurts me.. in order to protect me he goes overboard and the family structure begins to breakdown. I pacify my son to make up for things... you see the picture. So my son now roams from friends house to friends house... and is in severe turmoil. When he was born I knew that day that God had a plan for him. The devil is giving it his best shot to make sure that doesn't come to fruition. My prayer is that my son will hear what we advise....do whatever it takes to get on his feet and become a man, that my husband will be more compassionate and more loving instead of logical and strict, and that I can stand behind my husband and support him without coddling my son and keeping my heart in tact. We are starting to look for a church this sunday. We have one in mind. Please pray for intervention and the Holy Spirit to flood our hearts and souls and that my family can heal. I have a 17 year old daughter who is suffering as well because she sees the way he treats us and how he is failing.. she loves him but doesn't like him much and it is tearing her up. I know this sounds kinda rambling but I am so distraught. I know God has a plan, I just need peace of mind and patience to see it through!  Thank you so very much. God bless you for all you do!!! Sister Chenoor

"We are writing to urgently appeal for your prayers for our sister Chenoor, an Iranian sister. After fleeing from Iran to Turkey several years ago she has undergone traumatic treatment whilst seeking to get asylum to a safe country. Her husband Brother Hazhir managed to escape to Holland where he is in an asylum seekers camp and is in touch with our local Dutch brethren, who have visited and broken bread with him. Chenoor's family were arrested several times and beaten, as reported on previous Carelinks messages. Her parents, brother and sister recently arrived safely in Canada, but the authorities will not permit her to leave- even though UNHCR and Canadian Immigration have approved her case as genuine. Yesterday she was arrested by Turkish Police and is currently under arrest, threatened with possible deportation to Iran, which would mean torture and possibly death. We have been in touch with the authorities immediately and her fate is still being decided. We ask therefore for your prayers as a matter of urgency; both for her and also for her husband brother Hazhir, her family, and those at the cutting edge of dealing with 'the powers that be' over this matter."  To aid in your prayers, here is a picture of Sister Chenoor taken in 2006:
